Youth Week, celebrated from the 20th to the 26th of May, was a vibrant nationwide campaign in New Zealand. It was orchestrated by young people, showcasing their significant contributions to their communities. The event empowered youth by involving them in every facet of the campaign, from planning and execution to evaluation. This hands-on approach ensured that the voices of young New Zealanders were heard and valued, promoting their active participation and leadership in community development.
We utilized our social media platforms to celebrate the talents, passion, and successes of our young disabled members through a campaign led by the Auckland Committee members. This initiative highlighted the diverse abilities and achievements of these young individuals, showcasing their contributions and inspiring others in the community.
